The Live to Give Foundation (L2G) is a grassroots Non-Profit charitable organization that was created to help families in their time of need in a personal way. L2G was created in November of 2007, by two college students, Kevin Smith from Michigan State University and Ryan Doyle from the University of Michigan. The goal of the charity is to bring those who donate and the recipients of those donations closer together by adding the personal touch to every aspect of charitable giving. They do this by creating videos of the donating individuals for the recipients to see and vice-versa . This allows a deeper and more meaningful relationship to develop between both parties, improving  the experience and hopefully encouraging others to get involved.
