So while driving on the highway last night I had an interesting encounter with a tire which renewed my faith in the awesome power of t-shirts. I ran over a random stupid tire on the off ramp because I could not swerve out of the way. The tire tore my plastic undercarriage bumper guard thing back, causing me to pull over as it was dragging and making it very difficult to steer

Unable to reattach with the plastic snaps, I went digging in my car for something to fasten the bumper to. Of course, the only thing I have in my car are massive amounts of random shirts. So I took an official UGP Kickball shirt and tied it back together:

However, I understimated my knot strength and had to readjust 15 miles down the road by tearing the sleeves off and fastening in two spots:

Moral of the story? T-Shirts really do solve all of life’s little problems.
